The actress began to appear regularly in panel shows following the win of an award at The Edinburgh Comedy Awards. In 2016, and in 2017, she served as a team leader for 8 Out of 10 Cats. Additionally, she was a contestant of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. The child was born to Brian O'Sullivan, and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead is her younger sister. She became only the second female to be a winner of the show So You Think You're Funny in the year 2012. Bea is her name to honor her late father. Bea's father Brian was an equine vet who took his own life at the age of three when Bea turned three, was an suicide victim. She was told about his death only at thirteen years of age. Bea chose to stage her name Bea to pay tribute to her late father. Bea also wrote an article published in The Guardian on her family's death experience. Bea's mom Helen was also an instructor for jockeys and a former professional jockey was responsible for the care of her daughter and Sinead. The family was racing and horse-related. Bea began her career as a tourist guide for the Irish National Stud. But she soon realized that her passion was for performing and not racing.
