Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson is the daughter of British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby (born in Paris) and Chris Watson (born in Paris). When she was just five and moved to Oxfordshire and attended her first Dragon School. Emma was aspired to become an actor from the age of aged six. She studied at Stagecoach Theatre Arts in Oxford which is an acting academy that offers part-time classes. As early as age ten she was involved and performed the main role in a number of Stagecoach Productions and School Plays. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) The film adaptation to J.K. Rowlings bestselling novel was first cast for the very first time back in the year 1999. Emma was identified by casting agents via Emma's Oxford theatre teacher. David Heyman informed Emma, Daniel Radcliffe, and Rupert Grint following auditions for 8 times. They were selected as three leads Hermione Gringer Harry Potter Ron Weasley. The debut of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001) was Emma's cinematic screen debut. It also was the film that was most popular of 2001. The opening days and weekends of ticket sales were record-breaking. Critics have praised both the film and the performance by three principal young actors. The widely distributed British newspaper The Daily Telegraph called her performances admirable. Emma later won five awards for her performance in the film.
