Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musically inclined family. When she was a kid, she listened to a lot of traditional music as well as old Boleros. Also, she listened to traditional romantic ballads and ranchero. Ana is a fan of tangos. Additionally, she enjoys operas, and every form of dramatic performance. After singing with her mom and sister, she began more intense training in singing at 16 under the guidance of the renowned Mexican tenor FlavioBecerra. At the School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico continued her music education. She performed at Guadalajara, Mexico City and different cities when she was a young musician and student. After moving to America, United States, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then in 2002 she moved to southern California. The singer currently sings traditional Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. The passion and love she has in music, art and performing keeps her involved in many local projects as a teacher and performer. Ana is a previous participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands (as being a member of the Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana hopes that with her performance songs from Latin American traditional songs, that she can inspire a love, especially for the young generation, for keeping this music vibrant.
